# Remote Proxy

Instead of setting up proxy accounts again and again on each parachain, remote-proxy module allows you to create it once on the Relay Chain — then compatible parachains can automatically inherit that proxy.

## Set up

No extra steps are needed — once you create a proxy on the Relay Chain (including both standard and Pure Proxies), you're good to go.

## Check Remote Proxy

You can create the proxy as usual on the Relay Chain.

Then switch to any parachain that supports Remote Proxy and view the account structure. Remote Proxy relationships will be shown with dashed lines.

Mimir already supports various forms of nesting.

## Use Remote Proxy

From there, you can use Remote Proxy just like any regular proxy account — to send or receive funds, participate in governance, staking, or any other supported actions. Without worrying about asset loss.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.mimir.global/remote-proxy.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
